AWP Controller

The panel is equipped with 4/6 clean exchange contacts for signaling the operating status to supervisory systems at a higher level or to the systems upstream of the filter itself. 

The available signals are: 

• GENERAL ALARM 

• POWER OFF 

• FILTERING 

• CLEANING 

The AWC-FULL controller provides the possibility of being connected, with a two-wire cable via RS485 (maximum connection length 1200m), to external devices by communicating with the standard Modbus RTU protocol. 

 

By default it is produced with the following factory settings: 

• Mode: Slave 

• Address of Station 1 

• Baud rate 19200 bps 

• 8 bit Data Bit 

• Equal Equality 

• Bit Stop 1 bit

AWP-X-1MM / 1MT is an automation panel suitable for managing the cleaning cycles of Alfa Water Srl automatic filters.
It comes in a container in SMC (fiberglass) RAL 7035, including a 3.4 ″ display and a 26-key membrane keyboard for navigation within the menus.
To manage the operating logic of the self-cleaning filter, a programmable logic controller with integrated graphic interface (PLC / HMI all-in-one) is used.
The AWP-X-1MM / 1MT control system is used where an automation panel with emergency button, door lock disconnector and electromechanical components such as motor protectors and remote switches is required.

AWP-E-BxN Mod


AWP-E-BxN Mod is an automation panel suitable for industrial use for structurally complex systems.
The letter “B” indicates the number of blocks, the letter “N” the number of filters for each block and “Mod” indicates the model of the filters present in the project.
In this type of switchgear, a fully engineered PLC manufactured in Italy is used.

AWP-X-nMM/nMT is an automation panel suitable for managing the cleaning cycles of Alfa Water Srl automatic filters.
It comes in a container in SMC (fiberglass) RAL 7035, including a 3.4 ″ display and a 26-key membrane keyboard for navigation within the menus.
With the letter “n” we indicate the number of filters checked.
Alfa Water srl is able to design and manufacture automation panels suitable for controlling and managing entire relatively complex structured filtration systems. The control unit is the same that is used in the AWP-X-1MM / 1MT switchboard with the addition of the necessary expansion I / O modules.

AWP-M-BxN Mod is an automation panel suitable for industrial use for a single filter and for structurally more complex systems.
The Mitsubishi FX series PLC is used for all systems, from single filters to complex systems.
The FX family consists of a series of products which are distinct and independent from each other but fully compatible with each other.

Mitsubishi Electric presents the FX3S programmable logic controller for the proven FX3 series. Particular properties of the FX3S PLC are its flexibility and expandability.

In addition to the standard RS422 interface for 115.2 kbps serial communication, the FX3S can use a wide range of optional expansion modules through which it becomes possible to add an additional RS232, RS485 or RS422 communication port, which can be used. to connect and control various devices from other manufacturers, such as bar code readers or industrial printers. Compact expansion adapters are also available to add additional digital inputs and outputs, which can be inserted directly into the controller, without the need for additional installation space. The ADP modules of the FX3U series can be connected on the left side of the PLC for analog inputs, Ethernet and serial communication (with MODBUS compatibility).

A PLC can be connected to a monochrome Mitsubishi touchscreen operator panel with 32 gray or color scales with Ethernet connection, RS422 / 485 and with USB port.
It is also possible to connect inverters (VFD) to control the speed of the motors.
