The processing for the human consumption involves the collecting of the water from various sources: wells, springs, lakes, rivers. This implies that the physical and chemical pollutants present in the water vary significantly and the filtration must be continuous.
The water effluent from the human consumption and the discharged industrial water are generally t reated in Wastewater Treating Plant (WWTP). Afterwards the filtered water can be used for feeding the equipment involved in washing processes, or for industrial use or irrigation. In the second case an additional filtration step is necessary
