Dry bilge
The concept of the dry bilge provides that all the drains that are generally sent to the collection box of the bilge, are selected because it often happens that drains that do not contain oil but which by mistake or sometimes for the convenience of collection are sent to the bilge tank.
From a preliminary analysis of all discharges, those that do not contain oil and hydrocarbons are removed (eg some condensate discharges) and are collected in other smaller boxes equipped with floats and booster pumps located in various areas of the ship.

Application schemes
Alfa Water offers sealed tanks completely in AISI 304-aisi 316 stainless steel with float and booster pump. The shape and dimensions of the collection tanks are agreed with customer and custom made.
