Filtration of the gray water

Filtration of the gray water

Gray water is the waste water generated by the various utilities (kitchens, bathrooms, showers, etc.) which do not contain fecal (black) water and which are treated with various types of water treatment systems.

Alfa Water is able to offer innovative and very compact solutions for the removal of solids and fats in the preliminary phase and oils using of OilRep ™ systems.

Application schemes

The water coming from the kitchens is filtered by separating the solid material from the liquid one.
Subsequently, through a flotation system, the oils and fats are separated with a skimmer system.
Finally, the accumulated water is filtered through an AVC filter with Nanotex™ OilRepellent™ technology at 25µm.

The water coming from the kitchens is grilled with the separation of the solid material.
Subsequently, through a flotation system, the oils and fats are separated with a skimmer system.
The accumulated water is then filtered through an AVC filter with Nanotex™ OilRepellent™ technology at 25µm.
The last stage involves the use of the band filter (ABF) at 10÷5µm for the removal of colloidal residues and possibly oil traces before reusing the permeate.

The band filter (ABF) can be used as a polishing unit after sand filtration.
In these cases the filter can ensure filtration up to 15µm.
